Steps on fulfilling a dropshipping order after a sale
Step 1. Reserving the item on Buyers Portal
Once you get a successful sale on eBay, you will navigate to "create order" button and then press
"reserve product" on the next page.
Step 2. Submit order information
NOTE: Once you reserve a product, you must order the product on Amazon and submit the information within 1 hour 50 minutes.
Once at the order submission page, follow the prompt at the top of the page. You will be sending the product directly to the eBay buyer, using the buyers address provided on eBay.
📦 Steps to ship directly to buyers address from Amazon
In the case that your PBC product takes longer than 3 business days (recommended handling time) to ship from Amazon or if you get a TBA tracking number–which is Amazon’s own delivery service, you will want to use https://www.tracktaco.com/. This website generates real tracking numbers that these marketplaces accept and validate. It’s important to always upload a valid tracking number for all of your orders, either from USPS, UPS or FedEx so your seller accounts remain in good standing and aren’t negatively impacted.
In order to avoid getting TBA tracking numbers as much as possible, it’s important to jig the buyer’s shipping address. This method is not foolproof but will increase the odds of getting an acceptable tracking number for your order. See steps below:
Find the item that you need to order on Amazon.
Edit the current address in the check out page to the buyer’s address for the current order you want to fulfill.
Jig the address to ensure you get UPS/USPS tracking instead of Amazon’s TBA tracking, which Facebook/eBay/Mercari do not accept. Simply add a lowercase “.x” in front of the address.
EXAMPLE: "123 Main St." -> ".x123 Main St."
Amazon will give you a pop-up trying to move the ".x" to the end of the numbers in the address. Do not do this. Select the original choice that you entered, and it will allow you to place the order.
Select Amazon Day Shipping. This option increases the likelihood you will receive UPS/USPS tracking instead of TBA. Complete the order.
Once the item ships, you will need to copy the tracking number from Amazon and enter it for the order on whichever marketplace that you made the sale.
Once you have found the item on Amazon using the keywords provided, ensure the ASIN matches the one provided
Once confirmed, upload the order screenshot and order number into the provided fields and then press submit.
